Consultation Fees & Rebates
We are committed to providing transparent information about the costs associated with our mental health services.
Fee Schedule
The following outlines our standard consultation fees. Please note that session durations are approximate.
Medicare Rebates & Billing Policy
Important Notice: Mixed Billing Practice
Nexus Mental Health Recovery Services is a mixed billing practice. This means that while Medicare rebates are available for eligible services, there will generally be an out-of-pocket expense. We do not offer bulk billing.
To receive a Medicare rebate for your consultation with Matt Ireland, after your consultation and full payment of the fee, we can assist with processing your Medicare claim if your bank details are registered with Medicare. Alternatively, you can claim your rebate directly from Medicare via their app or online services.

All initial consultations are in-person appointments. Nurse practitioners, like general practitioners, are required to have at least one in-person visit every 12 months. This is required to access medicare rebates but also allows for a more thorough assessment to occur when first commencing with the service.

The Medicare rebate amounts listed are current estimates and may be subject to change by Medicare. Please confirm your eligibility and anticipated rebate with Medicare if you have specific queries.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Fees are payable on the day of the appointment or via invoice within 14 days. Please note that EFTPOS facilities are not available at this time.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will result in a 30% cancellation fee. If cancellation occurs prior to 24 hours, then this fee is not applicable.
